Apprenticeship

The apprenticeship and apprenticeship with Matura (school leaving certificate) are dual vocational trainings, which only exist in Austria at BOXMARK.

You want to do a vocational training at an international company leading in leather production and processing? Are you interested in technology? Would you like to work nationally or internationally? Then BOXMARK is the right place for you!

As an apprentice at BOXMARK, you will not only receive good technical training, you will also gain an insight into the entire corporate structure and all work processes. During the training, the apprentice acquires all the practical and theoretical knowledge required for the chosen apprenticeship occupation at two learning locations.

Another Austrian training model at BOXMARK is "Apprenticeship with Matura" – a combination of apprenticeship and Berufsreifeprüfung (vocational certificate). A prerequisite for this is an upright apprenticeship relationship and that a partial examination has already been taken before the final apprenticeship examination. With the successfully completed Berufsreifeprüfung you are entitled to study at universities, universities of applied sciences and academies or to attend colleges.

BOXMARK is a training company for the following professions:

  • Metal technician (mechanical engineering)
  • Electrical engineer (plant and operational engineering)
  • Mechatronics engineer (automation engineering)
  • Laboratory technician (chemistry)

The apprenticeships can be completed in the conventional course (regular apprenticeship) and, under certain conditions, as second-chance education in adulthood (extraordinary apprenticeship).

In preparation for the final apprenticeship examination and Berufsreifeprüfung, appropriate preparatory courses are offered. If necessary, support courses for the vocational school can also be taken.

In the event of excellent and good results at vocational school and in the final apprenticeship examination, apprentices receive small success bonuses.

In cooperation with the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, you have the opportunity to attend the WIFI Apprentice Academy once a year during your apprenticeship. During these days you will be trained in the modules communication, self-management as well as behavior and manners in the company and will complete the Apprenticeship Academy with a diploma.

After you have finished your apprenticeship, you can start your career at BOXMARK. We offer you training opportunities so that you can develop optimally with us! Have we aroused your interest? Then please send us your application documents online! You can apply for an advertised position or proactively if you have not found a suitable job.

Your application should contain:

  • Cover letter
  • Curriculum vitae with photo
  • Copy of the last two certificates

We are looking forward to receiving your application!

“My colleagues are always here to advise me.“
“I am very happy that I have decided to do an apprenticeship as an Industrial Electrician. This profession offers a lot of variety. My tasks include measuring motors and checking them or wiring new systems and putting them into operation together with my colleagues. Meanwhile, I also help my colleagues with troubleshooting and analysis on the active machines in production. From my point of view the maintenance of the machines is one of the most important tasks to ensure a faultless operation. I am now in my third year of apprenticeship, and thanks to the trust of my colleagues I have been able to complete many tasks independently and acquire a lot of knowledge. My colleagues are always here to advise me.”
